Cook up a friendship and share a story or two! (Arabic Speaking Volunteer)

Cook up a friendship and share a story or two!

If you enjoy meaningful conversations and building genuine connections, this could be the perfect opportunity. Spend one hour each week visiting a lovely lady who would appreciate regular companionship.

She enjoys watching Arabic movies, reading, and sharing conversations about food, family, and life. She especially enjoys cooking with her family and would love the opportunity to chat with someone who appreciates good stories, culture, and connection.

Your visits could include discussing favourite books and films, sharing recipes and memories, or simply enjoying a warm and friendly conversation together.

If you enjoy meaningful chats, learning about different cultures, and making a genuine difference in someone’s week, we’d love to hear from you—this could be the recipe for a truly rewarding volunteering experience.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
