Microsoft Entra ID Engineer

Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Entra ID Engineer to join our IT Services team. In this pivotal role, the successful candidate will be responsible for architecting, managing, and optimizing hybrid identity solutions within our enterprise environment. This position is critical for ensuring seamless authentication, secure access to enterprise applications, and the robust integration of Single Sign-On (SSO) protocols across our infrastructure. The ideal professional will leverage deep expertise in Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory to drive identity strategy and resolve complex authentication challenges.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain hybrid identity architectures connecting on-premises Active Directory with cloud-based Microsoft Entra ID.
  
• Develop and manage PowerShell scripts to automate identity management tasks, provisioning, and synchronization processes.
  
• Configure and troubleshoot SAML-based SSO integrations for various enterprise applications to ensure secure and frictionless user access.
  
• Manage and administer Okta and Microsoft Entra ID environments, including user lifecycle management and access policies.
  
• Diagnose and resolve intricate authentication issues, ensuring high availability and security for all identity services.
  
• Oversee the integration of enterprise applications with identity providers to maintain a unified and secure access framework.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Possess 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in IT services, specifically focusing on identity and access management.
  
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Entra ID and traditional Active Directory environments.
  
• Strong command of PowerShell scripting for automation and administrative tasks within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  
• Proven experience managing hybrid identity solutions and integrating cloud identity with on-premises infrastructure.
  
• Solid background in configuring and troubleshooting SSO protocols, particularly SAML, and managing enterprise application integrations.
  
• Familiarity with alternative identity platforms such as Okta and the ability to navigate multi-tenant identity landscapes.
  
• Excellent analytical skills for effective authentication troubleshooting and security issue resolution.
  

Salary Range: ₹10-13 LPA
