SAP EDI/OTC Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP EDI O2C Consultant to support and enhance SAP EDI integrations and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes in a global enterprise environment.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in SAP SD, SAP EDI/IDoc integrations, and EDI transaction processing, with hands-on experience supporting business-critical processes such as order management, logistics, billing, and customer integrations.

This role will work closely with business users, trading partners, and cross-functional SAP teams to ensure seamless electronic data exchange and efficient O2C operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and troubleshoot SAP EDI integrations and interfaces.
• Monitor and resolve EDI transaction failures, IDoc errors, and integration issues.
• Analyze, investigate, and resolve production incidents impacting Order-to-Cash processes.
• Support customer onboarding activities, trading partner setup, testing, and go-live execution.
• Collaborate with SAP SD, MM, FI, and technical integration teams to resolve cross-functional issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and provide sustainable solutions to recurring issues.
• Coordinate UAT, integration testing, and production deployment activities.
• Create and maintain functional and technical documentation.
• Work with internal stakeholders and external partners to support process improvements and system enhancements.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in EDI integration, EDI operations, or SAP EDI support.
• Strong experience with SAP EDI integrations and SAP IDoc processing/troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience supporting SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.
• Knowledge of EDI standards such as ANSI X12 and/or EDIFACT.
• Experience with trading partner onboarding, testing, and production support.
• Understanding of:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP PI/PO, CPI, or other SAP integration technologies.
• Exposure to SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Experience working in a global/shared services environment.
• Knowledge of procurement, warehouse, or logistics processes.
• Experience with OpenText, Seeburger, IBM Sterling, or other EDI platforms.
