Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Finishing Works Supervisor / Foreman to oversee finishing activities for residential and interior fit-out projects in Guinea, West Africa.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in tile installation, drywall/gypsum works, painting, and general finishing works, with the ability to supervise workers and ensure quality, productivity, and timely completion of site activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily finishing works at the project site.
  
• Plan and allocate work to tile setters, drywall/gypsum installers, painters, and other finishing workers.
  
• Monitor the quality of tile, drywall, ceiling, painting, and other finishing works.
  
• Ensure work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, and required standards.
  
• Check surface preparation, alignment, levels, finishing, and workmanship.
  
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Supervisors, and other trades.
  
• Monitor daily manpower, productivity, and work progress.
  
• Identify and resolve site-level finishing issues.
  
• Ensure proper use and handling of materials, tools, and equipment.
  
• Minimize material wastage and maintain good housekeeping at the worksite.
  
• Ensure workers follow site safety procedures and instructions.
  
• Report daily progress and any technical or manpower issues to management.
  
• Lead the finishing team and ensure projects are completed within the required schedule.
  

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finishing work.
Strong hands-on experience in one or more of the following:

• Tile installation and finishing
  
• Drywall / gypsum partition and ceiling works
  
• Interior and exterior painting
  
• General building finishing works
  

Previous experience as a Foreman, Finishing Supervisor, Charge-hand, or similar position.
Ability to read and understand drawings and site instructions.
Good knowledge of finishing materials, tools, and construction methods.
Strong team leadership and coordination skills.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
Candidates with GCC, African, or international construction experience will be an advantage.
Willingness to relocate and work in Guinea, West Africa.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates who have worked on residential buildings, villas, hotels, commercial buildings, or interior fit-out projects and have experience supervising multiple finishing trades are preferred.
