Senior Presales Consultant - Data Center

As a Senior Presales Consultant, you will orchestrate all technical activities and resources across the sales lifecycle, holding accountability for opportunities across the sales team. You will provide architectural perspective across the Cisco, Dell, NetApp, Broadcom, Nutanix, and HPE product portfolios, including software and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a technology/product/solution consultant, guiding customers and internal teams on solution design and implementation.
  

• Act as the technical orchestrator, coordinating OEM resources and ensuring successful completion of each technical milestone in the sales lifecycle.
  

• Provide technical information and design guidance in collaboration with OEMs to support seller teams.
  

• Partner with the Account Manager to develop account plans jointly and ensure customer success.
  

• Work with internal teams to orchestrate competitive solutions aligned with customer requirements.
  

• Educate customers on Proactive differentiation and establish technical leadership as a trusted advisor.
  

• Serve as a technology expert across multi-domain architectures, delivering consultative value.
  

• Build strong relationships with sales teams, OEM architecture teams, business units, partners, and customers.
  

• Adhere to Proactive’s 9-hour working policy and utilize Zoho tools to monitor and improve team collaboration.
  

Requirements

Qualifications

Required:

• Graduate degree, preferably Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent.
  

• Excellent written, oral, and listening communication skills with the ability to articulate confidently in customer conversations.
  

• 12–15 years of presales and operations experience in a technical capacity.
  

• Strong knowledge of Data Center products and technologies in one or more areas: compute, storage, virtualization, backup, or Citrix.
  

• Broad understanding of end-to-end architecture with expertise in one or more technology domains.
  

• Technical knowledge in datacenter networking technologies.
  

• Strong white boarding and presentation skills to communicate solutions effectively.
  

Desired:

• Experience working with enterprise customers in similar presales or consulting roles.
  

• Technical certifications in Data Center technologies (Server, Storage, or related areas).
