Maintenance Technician

Overview
Our client is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to support daily operations by keeping trucks, forklifts, and production equipment operating safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities

• Perform diesel engine repairs and service tractor-trailers, forklifts, and other heavy-duty equipment to maintain reliable operation.
  
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, identify root causes, and complete necessary repairs to restore equipment functionality.
  
• Conduct scheduled maintenance, inspect equipment components, and test machinery to identify potential failures before they cause downtime.
  
• Troubleshoot and repair production machinery, hydraulic components, and related equipment to support daily manufacturing or warehouse operations.
  
• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and established safety standards while documenting completed work, parts used, and maintenance activities in work orders and service records.
  

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician, Diesel Mechanic, Fleet Mechanic, or Industrial Maintenance Technician.
  
• Hands-on experience servicing diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles.
  
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
  
• Ability to read technical manuals, equipment diagrams, and service documentation.
  
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools, electrical testing equipment, and general repair tools.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize repairs in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Commitment to workplace safety, equipment reliability, and accurate maintenance documentation.
