Lead Salesforce Developer

We are looking for a seasoned, highly technical Senior Salesforce Developer to lead the design, development, and implementation of complex customization within our Salesforce ecosystem. In this role, you will be the technical anchor—writing clean, scalable code, designing robust integrations, and translating complex business requirements into high-performing Salesforce solutions.

With 6–10 years of experience, you will be expected to advocate for best practices, mentor junior team members, and ensure that our platform remains agile, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Custom Development: Design and develop custom solutions using Apex (classes, triggers, controllers), Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Aura components, ensuring code is efficient and strictly adheres to governor limits.
  

• Architecture & Integration: Architect and build secure, scalable integrations between Salesforce and third-party enterprise systems (ERP, Billing, Marketing Automation) using REST/SOAP APIs, Pub/Sub API, or middleware.
  

• Declarative vs. Programmatic Balancing: Know when to code and when to configure. Maximize Salesforce declarative features (Flows, Validation Rules) before resorting to custom code.
  

• Technical Leadership & Review: Lead code reviews, enforce coding standards, and guide git-based DevOps deployment processes (SFDX, CI/CD pipelines).
  

• System Optimization: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, optimize sluggish code/queries, and manage technical debt within a mature Salesforce org.
  

• Collaboration: Partner with Business Analysts, Salesforce Administrators, and product owners to scope technical requirements and estimate development efforts accurately.
  

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

Core Technical Skills:

• Advanced Coding: Deep expertise in Apex programming, asynchronous processing (Batch, Queueable, Future), and modern frontend development using Lightning Web Components (LWC).
  

• Integrations: Proven track record of building seamless API integrations and handling large data volumes (LDV) within Salesforce.
  

• Salesforce Ecosystem: Deep technical knowledge of Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. Experience with Experience Cloud (Communities), Revenue Cloud (CPQ), or Industry Clouds is a major advantage.
  

• DevOps & Tools: Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce DX (SFDX), Git, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Copado, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  

Seniority & Leadership Expectations (6–10 Years):

• Ability to act as a technical subject matter expert who can confidently challenge requirements that oppose Salesforce best practices.
  

• Experience mentoring mid-to-junior developers and conducting constructive code reviews.
  

• Strong business acumen—understanding how technical decisions impact the broader business operations.
