Catering Assistant – London Gateway, Corringham | £15.69/hr (inc. holiday pay)

Chefs Bay is recruiting a Catering Assistant for ongoing shifts at London Gateway Port, Corringham. Shifts run Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm.

Pay: £14.00/hr + 12.07% holiday pay = £15.69/hr total. Full PAYE employment — no umbrella companies.

What you'll do:

• Support food and drink service during operational hours
  
• Handle cash/cashless payments and till transactions
  
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across working, service and dining areas
  
• Assist with kitchen tasks, washing up, and stock replenishment
  

What you need:

• Food Safety Certificate Level 2 and a Food Allergens Certificate (don't have these yet? We'll help you get certified — just apply)
  
• Smart, tidy appearance: black button-up shirt, black trousers, non-slip shoes
  
• Own transport — the site is only accessible by car, with no public transport within 2 miles
