Talent Research Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for a driven and highly proactive Talent Research Executive to work closely with the Director.

You will be the Director's right hand in candidate research, recruitment support, talent mapping, market research and business coordination.

The ideal person is someone who enjoys searching for talents, researching companies and candidates, using technology and AI tools and getting things done quickly. You should be comfortable working independently and have the curiosity to dig deeper when given a task.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a career in recruitment, talent acquisition, executive search or business operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Candidate Research & Talent Mapping

• Research and identify suitable candidates for recruitment assignments.
• Search LinkedIn, job portals, databases and other sources to identify potential candidates.
• Build talent maps and candidate lists based on specific requirements.
• Research companies, industries, organisations and talent pools.
• Gather relevant information on candidates and prepare concise candidate profiles.
• Identify potential candidates who may not be actively looking for a job.

2. Recruitment Support

• Support the Director throughout the recruitment process.
• Review CVs and shortlist suitable candidates.
• Conduct initial candidate screening and qualification.
• Contact and engage potential candidates.
• Coordinate interviews between candidates, consultants and clients.
• Follow up with candidates and ensure that recruitment processes keep moving.
• Maintain accurate candidate and recruitment records.

3. Executive Support

• Assist the Director with recruitment-related administration and coordination.
• Organise information and ensure the Director has the right information before meetings or discussions.
• Manage follow-ups and action items.
• Assist with ad-hoc projects and business initiatives.

4. Research & Business Projects

• Conduct market and competitor research.
• Research potential clients, industries and business opportunities.
• Support special projects assigned by the Director.

5. Technology & AI

• Use AI tools to improve research and productivity.
• Explore new recruitment technology and sourcing methods.
• Improve repetitive processes through automation.
• Find faster and smarter ways to research candidates and organise information.

• Strong at online research and comfortable using LinkedIn and job portals

We are open to candidates from backgrounds such as recruitment, HR, sales, business development, research, customer service, administration or coordination, provided they have the right attitude and ability.

Salary

RM3,000 – RM4,000 + Performance Incentives
