28.75 hours per week | Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–3:15 PM

About the Role

Kelston Boys’ High School is a state boys’ secondary school in West Auckland, providing education for 800+ students in Years 9-13.

We are looking for a Teacher Aide to work closely with assigned students supporting their learning, progress and participation in the classroom. You will reinforce classroom learning, support positive behaviour and work collaboratively with teachers and the Supported Learning Department.

This is a five-day-a-week, Monday to Friday position, working 9:00 AM–3:15 PM, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break, during the school term.

 Previous experience working with young people is preferred.

The base pay rate for this position starts at Grade B-C Step 5, $30.34 per hour. Remuneration will be determined in accordance with the Support Staff in Schools’ Collective Agreement (SSSCA), based on your qualifications and experience.
