Procurement Manager – Flexible Packaging

CONFIDENTIAL Scovai, a leading player in the Manufacturing sector, is conducting a confidential executive search on behalf of a prominent manufacturing group based in Saudi Arabia. We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Procurement Manager – Flexible Packaging to take full ownership of strategic sourcing and supply chain management for a comprehensive portfolio of flexible packaging materials. This is a high-impact leadership role where direct, hands-on procurement experience within the flexible packaging industry is an absolute prerequisite — candidates without this specific background will not be considered.

This role offers a compelling opportunity to shape and lead a procurement function at scale, driving cost optimisation, supplier development, and sourcing strategy across a broad range of critical raw materials including BOPP, CPP, PET, PE, PVC, aluminium foil, polymers, resins, inks, adhesives, and solvents. You will manage and develop a dedicated team, build robust supplier relationships across regional and international markets, and play a pivotal role in the organisation's operational resilience and competitive positioning.

Lead end-to-end procurement and strategic sourcing for all flexible packaging raw materials, including BOPP, CPP, PET, PE, PVC, aluminium foil, paper, polymers, resins, inks, adhesives, and solvents

Develop and execute category sourcing strategies that drive cost reduction, supply security, and supplier performance improvement across the full materials portfolio

Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and lead times with regional and international suppliers, ensuring commercially advantageous and legally sound agreements

Manage, mentor, and develop a team of procurement professionals, setting clear KPIs, conducting performance reviews, and building internal capability

Own supplier qualification, onboarding, and ongoing development processes, maintaining a diversified and resilient supply base across GCC and global markets

Monitor commodity market trends and proactively manage supply chain risks, implementing mitigation strategies to protect continuity of supply and cost targets

Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, finance, and logistics teams to align procurement activities with operational requirements and business objectives
