Senior Data Analyst / BI Consultant (Specialist)

Our client is seeking 2 experienced Data Analysts / BI Consultants to join a short-term project within the telecommunications sector.
The project involves working with complex customer, supplier and connectivity data to improve data accuracy, reporting and identify opportunities for cost optimisation and operational efficiency.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse and link supplier, access link and customer data
  
• Work with customer and supplier invoice and billing information
  
• Consolidate data from multiple sources into structured datasets
  
• Develop customer and supplier lifecycle management data files
  
• Perform data cleansing, reconciliation, validation and data quality checks
  
• Investigate data discrepancies and obtain missing information from relevant stakeholders and suppliers
  
• Analyse connectivity products, suppliers and associated costs
  
• Identify opportunities to optimise products or suppliers and reduce costs
  
• Develop and maintain BI reports and dashboards
  
• Perform data mining and analysis across large datasets
  
• Present meaningful insights and recommendations to business stakeholders
  

Requirements

• Strong experience in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, Data Processing or Data Engineering
  
• Strong SQL skills
  
• Experience working with large and multiple datasets
  
• Strong data cleansing, reconciliation and validation experience
  
• Hands-on Power BI experience
  
• Experience with Databricks, Data Brix or similar big-data platforms would be advantageous
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  
• Comfortable working with both technical and business stakeholders
  
• Commercial mindset with the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities
