NOTE: Local candidates ONLY. Candidates must be located within 90 miles of Lansing, MI. Relocation not Allowed. Resource will be working a hybrid schedule. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION. Will need to be onsite from day 1, two days a week. 1st round interviews will be virtual, but 2nd round interviews may take place in person. Candidates MUST be available for an in-person interview. We can accept H1b, H4, TN and other valid work visas for IT. However we cannot accept OPT or CPT visas at this time.

Description

Our client seeks a Project Manager to provide oversight, leadership, accountability, and project management functions for large strategic and complex projects supporting the clients projects with high visibility at the Executive level. These projects typically have a large diverse set of stakeholders, utilize vendor participation, require coordination of multiple stakeholders, complex schedules, and significant integration with other systems. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: - Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills - Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

Skills Required

- 6+ years Professional experience as a project manager for IT software or infrastructure projects involving 50 or more team members. - Advanced experience managing Agile projects - Advanced experience managing scope, schedule, and project budget - Advanced experience with vendor management - Experience writing or participating in development of Statement of Work (SOW), Request for Proposal (RFP) or contracts - Bachelors degree - A copy of the candidates transcript or diploma must be included

Skills Desired

- Possession of a PMP Certification
