Working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Agriculture, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, and Logistics, the Director drives alignment between commercial demand and operational capabilities. The role owns planning performance, establishes standardized processes and KPIs, and develops a high-performing team focused on service, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- • Lead the supply chain planning components of IBP/S&OP, aligning demand, supply, capacity, inventory, and financial plans.
• Lead weekly Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE) reviews to resolve near-term supply con-straints, prioritize demand, and drive corrective actions.
• Oversee material requirements planning for agricultural raw materials, packaging, films, la-bels, condiments, ingredients, and other production inputs.
• Align purchasing and replenishment plans with production requirements, supplier lead times, inventory targets, and material availability.
• Partner with Procurement, Agriculture, and external growers to improve supply reliability, harvest alignment, supplier performance, and contingency planning.
• Proactively manage material shortages, excess inventory, shelf-life exposure, and supply dis-ruptions while balancing service, waste, and working capital.
• Lead production scheduling across all facilities, balancing demand, labor, capacity, changeo-vers, sanitation, material availability, and inventory objectives.
• Partner with plant leadership to improve schedule attainment, reduce disruptions, and in-crease operational efficiency.
• Coordinate new product launches, promotional requirements, and production changes to ensure operational readiness.
• Identify network optimization opportunities and implement best practices in partnership with manufacturing.
• Monitor forecast accuracy, OTIF, net fill rate, material availability, schedule attainment, inven-tory turns, waste, and supply chain costs.
• Partner with Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Logistics to reduce expedite costs, in-ventory exposure, production losses, and cost-to-serve.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions to address recurring performance gaps and deliver sustainable improvements.
• Support annual operating plan (AOP) development, financial forecasting, and cross-functional improvement initiatives.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing supply chain planning team.
• Establish clear accountability, standard work, performance expectations, and planning rou-tines across facilities.
• Build strong partnerships across commercial, agricultural, procurement, manufacturing, and finance functions.
• Promote data-driven decision-making, continuous improvement, operational discipline, food safety, and a people-first culture.
Minimum Qualifications:
- • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field; mas-ter's degree preferred.
• 7–10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain planning, demand forecasting, materi-als management, production scheduling, or manufacturing operations.
• Demonstrated expertise in IBP/S&OP, demand and supply planning, inventory optimization, and production scheduling.
• Manufacturing experience, preferably in fresh food, produce, refrigerated products, or con-sumer packaged goods.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Power BI, data visualization, KPI reporting, and root-cause analysis.
• Experience translating demand into feasible production and material plans in a multi-facility environment.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and deliver measurable improvements in service, cost, inventory, and productivity.
• Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and continuous im-provement methodologies.
• Experience with agricultural supply, external growers, perishable inventory, or vertically inte-grated food operations.
• MBA or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or a related discipline.
