About the Opportunity
We are seeking dedicated and patient-focused General Practitioners to join a growing network of well-established medical practices across Queensland. Opportunities are available in both regional and coastal communities, offering excellent work-life balance, established patient bases, and strong clinical support.We welcome applications from experienced Australian-trained GPs, overseas-trained doctors, and practitioners currently working towards Fellowship pathways in Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality primary healthcare services to patients of all ages.
- Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Develop and implement patient-centred treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and compliant medical records.
- Collaborate with nursing staff, allied health professionals, and administrative teams.
- Promote preventative healthcare and patient education.
- Build strong relationships with patients and the local community.
Requirements
Essential Requirements
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), or eligibility for registration.
- Fellowship of RACGP or ACRRM, or currently working towards Fellowship.
- Doctors participating in the Fellowship Support Program (FSP) or Practice Experience Program (PEP/PFP) with Level 3 equivalent supervision or higher are encouraged to apply.
- Previous General Practice experience, either within Australia or internationally.
- Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to establish rapport with a diverse patient demographic and deliver exceptional patient care.
Highly Desirable
- Australian hospital experience.
- Currently residing and working in Australia.
- Experience working in regional or community-based healthcare settings.
- Qualification and experience as a GP Supervisor.
