Role Description

As an AWS Solution Architect focused on Data and AI, you will work directly with customers to understand their priorities, design solutions, and guide implementation. You will lead discovery workshops, assess data and cloud environments, and translate requirements into architectures, delivery plans, and clear, measurable acceptance criteria.

This is a hands-on role spanning data platforms, generative AI, agentic applications, security, governance, and operations. You will build prototypes, review code, troubleshoot challenges, and drive production readiness alongside our delivery team and AWS stakeholders. You will also shape scalable, reusable accelerators, contribute to proposals, mentor engineers, and help develop Attoforce’s future products.

Skills Required

• AWS architecture: Experience designing and delivering secure, reliable, cost-conscious solutions using AWS networking, compute, storage, databases, IAM and multi-account environments.
  
• Data engineering: Strong SQL and Python skills; experience with data ingestion, ETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling, quality and governance. Practical knowledge of services such as Amazon S3, AWS Glue, Lake Formation and Amazon Redshift.
  
• Generative and agentic AI: Experience building applications with Amazon Bedrock, retrieval-augmented generation, embeddings, vector search, agent workflows, tool integration and evaluations. Familiarity with Bedrock AgentCore is valuable.
  
• Software engineering: Ability to build and debug APIs and backend services, review code, write automated tests and integrate enterprise systems.
  
• Infrastructure and delivery: Experience with AWS CDK, CloudFormation or Terraform; Git, CI/CD, containers and automated deployments.
  
• Security and operations: Practical understanding of identity federation, least-privilege access, encryption, secrets management, data protection, observability, incident troubleshooting and recovery.
  
• AI cost and access controls: Understanding of model permissions, token usage, cost attribution, budgets, quotas and the distinction between spending alerts and enforced limits.
  
• Customer engagement: Ability to lead discovery workshops, communicate architecture to technical and business audiences, document decisions, estimate implementation effort and define acceptance criteria.
  
• Delivery ownership: Experience taking solutions from discovery and prototype through production handover, collaborating across teams and mentoring engineers.
  

Preferred: 7+ years of experience working with enterprises or startups in a similar role. Relevant AWS certifications, cloud migration expertise, and practical use of AI-assisted development tools such as Kiro or Codex.
