SAP CO – Product Costing

Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP CO professional to lead and manage product costing initiatives within our IT Services division. In this pivotal role, the successful candidate will leverage over seven years of specialized expertise to optimize financial processes, ensure accurate cost analysis, and drive strategic decision-making through robust data insights. This position is critical for maintaining financial integrity across the organization, requiring a deep understanding of SAP's Controlling module to handle complex cost structures, manage variance analysis, and support seamless system migrations. The role demands a proactive individual capable of integrating various SAP modules to streamline operations and deliver precise cost reporting.

Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive product costing strategies utilizing SAP CO functionalities to determine accurate material and overhead costs.
  
• Manage and analyze Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Internal Orders, and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA) to ensure financial alignment with business objectives.
  
• Perform detailed Work in Progress (WIP) calculations, variance analysis, and settlement procedures to monitor cost efficiency.
  
• Oversee the cost roll-up process to ensure accurate product pricing and profitability assessments.
  
• Lead data migration efforts using tools such as the SAP Migration Cockpit, LTMC/LTMOM, and LSMW to ensure data integrity during system transitions.
  
• Facilitate seamless integration between SAP CO and other core modules, including FI, MM, PP, SD, and PS, to support end-to-end business processes.
  
• Configure and maintain SAP CO settings to align with evolving organizational requirements and industry best practices.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Controlling, with a specific focus on Product Costing.
  
• Proven expertise in Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Internal Orders, Profitability Analysis (PCA), and CO-PA.
  
• Strong technical proficiency in handling WIP calculations, variance analysis, settlement rules, and cost roll-up processes.
  
• Demonstrated experience with SAP data migration tools, including the Migration Cockpit, LTMC/LTMOM, and LSMW.
  
• Solid understanding of cross-module integration, particularly with FI, MM, PP, SD, and PS.
  
• Advanced knowledge of SAP CO configuration and a deep grasp of product costing methodologies.
  
• Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
