PLASMA TECHNICIAN – AEROSPACE INDUSTRY

• Plan and perform plasma spraying and related coating preparation activities to meet production requirements.
  

• Set up components, prepare surfaces, and mask parts before coating operations.
  

• Carry out grit-blasting and other specified surface-preparation processes.
  

• Operate spraying equipment and adjust spray flow, speed and application parameters to achieve the required coating quality.
  

• Follow technical drawings, process instructions and applicable aerospace specifications.
  

• Inspect work to ensure coating quality, consistency and compliance with required standards.
  

• Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain equipment and work areas in good condition.
  

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in a relevant technical or engineering discipline.

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the aerospace industry.

Practical experience in plasma spraying, surface preparation, masking, grit-blasting or coating processes relevant to the role.

Good English communication skills.

Candidates should be familiar with quality standards, technical procedures and safe working practices in a manufacturing environment.
