About the Role

Our client is a leading manufacturing company based in West Flanders, Belgium, investing heavily in modern cloud infrastructure and digital transformation.

We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer with strong Terraform / Infrastructure as Code expertise to join the internal IT/Cloud team. You will play an important role in designing, implementing and maintaining secure, scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.

This is a permanent position offering the opportunity to work in an international manufacturing environment and contribute to meaningful cloud transformation projects.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.
  
• Develop and manage infrastructure using Terraform / Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  
• Build and maintain scalable, secure and highly available Azure environments.
  
• Automate cloud provisioning, configuration and operational processes.
  
• Work with Azure services including Azure Virtual Networks, Azure VMs, Storage, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Key Vault, Azure Monitor and related services.
  
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.
  
• Implement cloud security, identity and access management best practices.
  
• Monitor cloud environments and troubleshoot infrastructure and performance issues.
  
• Collaborate with software engineers, architects, cybersecurity and IT teams.
  
• Contribute to cloud architecture decisions, standards and best practices.
  
• Continuously improve automation, reliability, scalability and cost efficiency.
  

Your Profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related technical field.
  
• 3+ years of professional experience working with cloud infrastructure.
  
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
  
• Solid experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
  
• Experience with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions and CI/CD practices.
  
• Good understanding of networking, security, identity and access management in cloud environments.
  
• Experience with scripting/automation using PowerShell, Bash or Python is a plus.
  
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes/AKS is advantageous.
  
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with international teams.
  
• Fluent English communication skills are essential.
  
• A proactive mindset with a strong interest in automation and modern cloud technologies.
