Operating Room Nursing Manager

Job Description

• Lead and manage the operating room nursing team in a cardiovascular surgical setting
  
• Oversee daily OR operations, staffing, and scheduling
  
• Ensure adherence to surgical protocols, sterile techniques, and patient safety standards
  
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and clinical teams for cardiac procedures
  
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff, ensuring continuous professional development
  
• Monitor quality assurance, infection control, and compliance with international standards
  
• Manage inventory, surgical equipment, and resource allocation
  
• Participate in performance evaluations and process improvements
  
• Ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient outcomes in cardiac surgeries
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Master’s preferred)
  
• Valid nursing license
  
• Minimum 5–8 years of nursing experience, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership/management role
  
• Strong experience in cardiac surgery / cardiovascular operating rooms required
  
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS (mandatory), CNOR preferred
  
• Proven leadership, team management, and organizational skills
  
• Experience in handling high-volume surgical environments
  
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
