Position Summary

Dhaka Technologies Limited Company (DTLC) is hiring a Director, Program Management on behalf of our client, an aerospace and defense company, for its Power and Data Division in Blacksburg, Virginia.

The Power and Data Division is made up of three business units serving the space and defense industry. As the Program Management Director, you will drive consistency in divisional processes, tools, and best practices while directly leading program management across all three Power and Data Division businesses. No security clearance is required for this role.

Compensation

Base salary of $200,000 to $240,000 per year. Relocation assistance is available.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, train, and oversee the implementation of functional strategies and objectives for program management across the Power and Data Division.
  
• Lead the program management function for multiple Power and Data Division businesses, including direct leadership of program management personnel.
  
• Establish program baselines that ensure execution meets or exceeds proposal margin targets.
  
• Identify, develop, and implement improved program management processes, tools, and best practices to support each business unit.
  
• Build and mentor senior program management leadership, ensuring required competencies and behaviors are fully embedded.
  
• Create performance metrics, dashboards, and management tools to monitor ongoing program management effectiveness.
  
• Review underperforming programs, partner with program leadership on mitigation plans, and oversee recovery execution.
  
• Position program management as a growth enabler for revenue and operating profit.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
  
• 10 years of program management experience.
  
• PMP certification.
  
• Prior experience in aerospace, aviation, and defense or another highly regulated industry (such as pharmaceutical).
