Fireweave is building an AI Release Engineer for modern software teams — helping engineering organizations understand release risk, blast radius, and rollout safety before code hits production.

About the role

We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join the founding team and build the product experiences and services that put Fireweave's release intelligence in front of engineering teams. You'll work across the frontend, backend APIs, agent workflows, and the integrations that connect Fireweave to customers' code, CI/CD, and observability systems.

This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who likes shipping end to end: taking a customer problem from a rough idea to a designed, built, and running feature, and caring about how it feels to use as much as how it's built.

What you'll do

• Build and ship product features end to end across frontend, backend, and agent workflows
  
• Design clean APIs and data models that hold up as the product and customer base grow
  
• Build integrations with GitHub, CI/CD systems, feature flags, deployments, and observability tools
  
• Turn complex release and risk data into clear, fast, usable interfaces
  
• Own the quality of what you ship: testing, instrumentation, performance, and reliability
  
• Work directly with founders and early customers to shape what gets built next
  

Ideal profile

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with strong full stack depth
  
• Fluent in a modern web stack (TypeScript, React, and Node.js or similar)
  
• Solid backend fundamentals: API design, databases, and distributed systems basics
  
• Strong product sense and attention to detail in the experiences you build
  
• Comfortable with ambiguity, fast iteration, and 0 to 1 company building
  
• Experience with dev tools, infra, observability, CI/CD, or AI agents is a strong plus
