Graphic Designer (AO-14119)

This is a remote position.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating visually compelling and engaging designs that resonate with our target audience. Your role will involve working on a variety of projects, including print and digital media, with a strong focus on hospitality-related materials.

The candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills - effective interaction, resourceful, and able to find solutions independently, anticipating challenges and proactively addressing them, can be trusted to handle information, maintain confidentiality, and consistently deliver quality work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and execute creative concepts for a wide range of print and digital materials, including brochures, flyers, posters, social media graphics, and website visuals.
  
• Collaborate with the marketing team to produce high-quality designs that align with our brand identity and marketing goals.
  
• Ensure all designs are print-ready, meeting the specifications and standards for various printing processes.
  
• Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate best practices into design projects.
  
• Work closely with the client and department to ensure the highest quality of printed materials.
  
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
  

Requirements

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of professional experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio.
  
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field is desirable.
  
• Proficiency in other Adobe Creative Suite applications, such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator.
  
• Solid understanding of print design processes, including pre-press and production.
  
• Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design.
  
• Ability to take creative direction and work independently as well as part of a team.
  
• Strong English Language Skills - written & verbal
  
• Strong Writing Skills - conversational Australian English
  
• Experience working with an Australian company or business is highly regarded.
