Lab Technician - Qualified Phlebotomist

Adelphi is seeking a qualified Lab Technician – Phlebotomist to provide laboratory services at a psychiatric hospital in Travis County, Texas. The ideal candidate will perform phlebotomy procedures, support laboratory operations, and work with patients receiving inpatient mental health treatment and rehabilitation services.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Qualified to perform phlebotomy procedures.
• One (1) year of blood-drawing experience preferred.
• Current applicable licenses, certifications, or registrations, as required.
• Ability to work with patients with mental, developmental, substance use, or physical disorders.
• Must pass required background checks.
• Must meet immunization and COVID-19 testing requirements.
• Available for orientation and training on Days 1 and 6, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
• Must complete all additional required facility training.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform phlebotomy and blood collection per clinical standards.
• Provide laboratory support for psychiatric inpatients.
• Maintain a safe, professional, and supportive environment when interacting with patients.
• Follow applicable Texas regulations governing laboratory technicians.
• Comply with established laboratory procedures, facility policies, and safety requirements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
