Sales Associate - Academic Partnerships

• Identify and develop new partnership opportunities with universities, colleges, and educational institutions.
  
• Build and maintain strong relationships with university management, placement/career service teams, faculty, student affairs departments, and other institutional stakeholders.
  
• Conduct meetings, presentations, and discussions with universities to understand their requirements and present relevant training solutions.
  
• Develop and execute strategies to establish long-term academic and institutional partnerships.
  
• Promote the company's professional training, certification, and career-focused programs through university partnerships.
  
• Explore opportunities for student training programs, workshops, career development initiatives, certification programs, internships, and other institutional collaborations.
  
• Manage the complete partnership cycle, including prospecting, outreach, meetings, negotiations, follow-ups, closure, and relationship management.
  
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of programs and commitments made to partner institutions.
  
• Identify opportunities to generate student enrollments and revenue through university partnerships.
  
• Maintain regular follow-ups with existing partner institutions and identify opportunities to expand the relationship.
  
• Maintain accurate records of partnerships, leads, meetings, follow-ups, and conversions in the CRM.
  
• Achieve assigned partnership, lead-generation, and revenue targets.
  
• Attend university events, career fairs, education exhibitions, networking events, and other relevant activities to develop new business opportunities.
  
• Monitor market trends and identify potential universities and institutions for strategic collaboration.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in business development, institutional sales, university partnerships, academic partnerships, or a related field.
  
• Experience working with universities, colleges, educational institutions, or student-focused organizations is highly preferred.
  
• Candidates from education, training, EdTech, higher education, professional certification, or similar industries are preferred.
  
• Proven experience in B2B/institutional sales and partnership development.
  
• Strong ability to identify decision-makers, initiate conversations, conduct meetings, and convert prospects into partnerships.
  
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  
• Comfortable interacting with senior university and institutional stakeholders.
  
• Strong sales orientation with the ability to work towards and achieve business development and revenue targets.
  
• Good knowledge of MS Office and CRM systems.
  
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or a related field is preferred.
