We’re looking for a caring, motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join us in a school-based 1099 contract position near Richland, SC. ✨ Position Highlights

• Pay: $65–$70 per hour for 1099 contractors
  
• Paid Time: All direct and indirect hours paid at the same rate
  
• Full-Time Option: 37.5 hours per week
  
• Part-Time Option: At least 2 days per week
  
• Typical Schedule: Approximately 7:30 AM–3:30 PM
  
• Caseload: Approximately 45 students for a full-time position
  
• School Placement: Elementary, middle, or high school
  
• Support: A very supportive district with multiple layers of assistance

?️ Roles & Responsibilities

As a school-based SLP, you will:

• Provide case management services as required.
  
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members to support student success.
  
• Provide direct speech-language therapy to students with a variety of speech and language impairments.
  
• Support students in self-contained classrooms, including those who may benefit from augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
  
• Conduct screenings and/or evaluations as needed.
  
• Maintain working knowledge of applicable federal and South Carolina education laws and regulations.
  

✅ Qualifications

• Active South Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
  
• South Carolina Department of Education educator certification.
