About The Role

We are seeking a motivated Mobile App Engineer Intern to join our Engineering team in Denver, focused on building and improving Gesture's consumer mobile experience. This internship offers hands-on experience developing features for a live, actively used mobile app.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Build and ship new features for Gesture's iOS and/or Android app
  
• Fix bugs and improve performance across the mobile experience
  
• Work with our design team to implement polished, intuitive UI
  
• Integrate with backend APIs to power app functionality
  
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested mobile code
  
• Participate in code reviews and sprint planning with the engineering team
  
• Help test and troubleshoot new releases before they ship
  

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  
• Familiarity with React Native, Swift, Kotlin, or a similar mobile framework
  
• Understanding of REST APIs and mobile app architecture fundamentals
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  
• Self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills
  
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities
  
• Prior coursework, personal projects, or internship experience building mobile apps is a plus
