Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Okta Subject Matter Expert to lead the strategic administration, architectural design, and optimization of our identity and access management ecosystem. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary authority on Okta technologies, driving complex migration initiatives, ensuring robust security postures through advanced Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) configurations, and maintaining the integrity of the Universal Directory. This position is critical for aligning our identity infrastructure with business goals, managing the lifecycle of applications, and ensuring seamless user access across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Architect and manage the overall Okta environment, including policy creation, group assignments, and claims configuration to support diverse business needs.
  
• Lead comprehensive migration assessments and dependency analyses to facilitate smooth transitions of identity systems, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  
• Execute detailed application and policy inventory reviews to identify gaps, redundancies, and opportunities for optimization within the identity landscape.
  
• Develop and implement strategic rollback plans to mitigate risks during major system updates or migration events, ensuring business continuity.
  
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution for complex Okta-related issues, serving as the escalation point for critical identity incidents.
  
• Administer and refine Okta SSO and MFA solutions to enhance security protocols and user experience.
  
• Utilize Microsoft Entra ID integration capabilities to manage hybrid identity scenarios and ensure seamless synchronization between systems.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Proven professional experience in the IT Services sector, specifically within identity and access management.
  
• A work history spanning 5.5 to 8 years, demonstrating deep expertise in enterprise identity solutions.
  
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Entra ID, including its integration with Okta environments.
  
• Strong capability in performing dependency analysis and conducting thorough migration assessments for large-scale identity projects.
  
• Extensive hands-on experience with claims management, group assignments, and policy logic within the Okta platform.
  
• Expert-level troubleshooting skills for Okta applications, architectures, and Universal Directory configurations.
  
• Comprehensive background in Okta administration, architecture design, and the implementation of SSO and MFA protocols.
  
• Ability to create detailed application inventories and formulate effective rollback strategies for critical infrastructure changes.
