Job Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Staff Nurse – Cath Lab for a hospital in Dublin.
This is a permanent, full-time position (37.5 hours per week), offering an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments on admission and continuously monitor patient conditions, updating care plans accordingly.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on patient needs, best practices, and clinical guidelines.
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in line with established policies, procedures, and current evidence-based standards.
- Accurately document all patient assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes in line with legal and professional requirements.
- Administer treatments and fulfil medical orders precisely, ensuring timely and effective patient care with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care, effective discharge planning, and seamless service delivery.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, addressing concerns and maintaining patient dignity and confidentiality.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies, adapt to changing workloads, and maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, data collection, and the implementation of healthcare systems and policies.
- Uphold professional standards by engaging in continuous learning, supporting team development, adhering to NMBI and hospital policies, and contributing to education and training activities.
Requirements
- Possess a complete registration in the NMBI-maintained Register of Nurses, General Division.
- Evidence of personal and professional development
- Ongoing skills training - related to care necessary for patient caseload
- A minimum of four years post-registration experience.
