Retail Assistant

We are seeking a Retail Assistant to provide day-to-day support for retail programs, product initiatives, and customer-focused brand activities. This position assists with preparing retail materials, organizing product displays, supporting customers, and helping the team maintain a professional and well-organized environment during scheduled programs.

The Retail Assistant will work alongside team members to ensure products, information, supplies, and presentation areas are prepared and available while providing helpful assistance to customers throughout each activity.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of retail programs and scheduled customer activities
  
• Organize products, samples, displays, signage, and informational materials
  
• Help prepare customer-facing areas prior to scheduled programs
  
• Welcome customers and provide general assistance
  
• Answer basic questions regarding featured products, services, and current offerings
  
• Direct more detailed customer questions to the appropriate team member when necessary
  
• Help customers locate information and understand available product options
  
• Maintain familiarity with products and services associated with assigned programs
  
• Support product demonstrations and informational activities
  
• Monitor displays and presentation areas throughout scheduled activities
  
• Replenish products, materials, samples, and supplies as needed
  
• Keep product displays and customer areas organized and properly presented
  
• Assist with inventory counts and track the availability of program materials
  
• Prepare materials and supplies for upcoming retail activities
  
• Distribute approved informational and promotional materials
  
• Gather general customer comments and questions for internal review
  
• Assist team members with customer flow and program organization
  
• Follow established presentation and brand guidelines
  
• Assist with setup, breakdown, and organization of retail materials
  
• Support product launches, seasonal programs, retail events, and other scheduled brand initiatives
  
• Complete additional retail support assignments based on program needs
  

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Associate’s degree, college coursework, or relevant training in Business, Marketing, Communications, Retail Management, or a related area preferred
Previous experience in retail, customer service, hospitality, events, merchandising, or another customer-facing environment preferred
Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Friendly, professional, and dependable approach
Comfortable assisting customers and answering general questions
Ability to learn basic product and service information
Strong organization and attention to detail
Ability to follow established procedures and presentation guidelines
Comfortable working in active customer-facing environments
Ability to manage several responsibilities during scheduled programs
Reliable time-management and follow-through
Ability to adapt to different products, programs, and assignments
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Availability for scheduled retail programs, including occasional evenings or weekends when required
