Business Operations Analyst

Wert Group is hiring a Business Operations Analyst to support our consulting projects with data and analysis. You will collect figures from clients, build models in Excel, and turn the results into slides the project team presents. The position is full-time and remote from anywhere in the United States.

Wert Group is a management consulting firm in Boston. We advise owners and management teams on strategy, organization design, operating models and governance, including companies with operations in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Responsibilities

• Collect and clean operational and financial data from client systems
• Build Excel models for costs, capacity, pricing and process performance
• Benchmark clients against peers using public filings and industry data
• Analyze processes and quantify where time and money are lost
• Prepare charts and slides for steering committee meetings
• Track project milestones, risks and open actions
• Write short summaries of findings for partners and clients

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in business, economics, engineering or a related field
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups
• Clear writing and the ability to explain numbers simply
• PowerPoint or Google Slides

Nice to Have

• SQL, Power BI or Tableau
• An internship in consulting, finance or operations
• German
