Rotating Schedules: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM

Chalmers Ford is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Service BDC Representative to join our growing Service Business Development Center.

As a Service BDC Representative, you’ll be one of the first points of contact for customers needing automotive service. You’ll communicate with customers, schedule service appointments, follow up on opportunities, and help connect customers with the dealership’s Service Department.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is friendly, organized, comfortable on the phone, and motivated by customer service and sales.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Answer inbound customer calls and respond to service inquiries
  
• Make outbound calls to current and potential service customers
  
• Schedule and confirm service appointments
  
• Follow up with customers who have not yet scheduled
  
• Communicate with customers by phone, email, and other dealership communication platforms
  
• Identify customer needs and connect them with the appropriate Service Department personnel
  
• Educate customers on recommended maintenance and available dealership services
  
• Promote services including oil changes, tires, brakes, alignments, suspension, shocks and struts, transmissions, and other automotive repairs
  
• Help increase service appointments and customer retention
  
• Maintain accurate customer information and activity in the CRM
  
• Follow up with customers regarding vehicle status and service needs
  
• Provide a professional and positive customer experience
  
• Work closely with Service Advisors, Technicians, and Management
  

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong customer service and communication skills
  
• Comfortable speaking with customers by phone
  
• Sales or appointment-setting experience preferred
  
• Automotive dealership or service experience preferred
  
• Ability to confidently recommend and promote automotive services
  
• Strong follow-up and organizational skills
  
• Comfortable working with computers and CRM systems
  
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  
• Professional and positive attitude
  
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  

Automotive experience is preferred, but strong customer service and sales candidates are encouraged to apply.

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

$16.00 PER HOUR + COMMISSION

Full-Time | Monday–Friday

Rotating schedules:

7:00 AM–4:00 PM
or
9:00 AM–6:00 PM

Some Saturdays required as part of the rotating schedule.
