A growing and innovative engineering firm is looking to add a Construction Services Project Engineer for their Washington, DC team!


Responsibilities:

  • Manage/control all construction project documentation
  • Update Construction Management plan
  • Ensure all construction documents and required recordkeeping is maintained appropriately
  • Responsible for external and internal communications with the project team
  • Technical writing of project documents and documentation management
  • Monitor/observe daily construction activities on projects
  • Establish project controls/procedures
  • Prepare monthly reports, maintain project records, review contractor payment requests
  • Prepare project documentation including transmittals, submittals, Requests for Information (RFI), letters, faxes, emails
  • Attend progress meetings and generate status reports
  • Meet with project team, vendors, contractors, suppliers, and other service providers as needed
  • Assist with large-sewer rehabilitation projects from design/permitting phase through construction services


Requirements

  • B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering, or related field, from an accredited college
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • MD or VA PE preferred or ability to obtain via reciprocity within first 6 months


Salary is commensurate with experience.
