We are currently seeking a full-time Software Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and ongoing improvement of software solutions. Reporting to the Senior Software Developer, this role will develop innovative, reliable, and user-focused applications from concept through implementation and ongoing support. The hours will typically be in the office Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Base salary: $65,000 - $85,000 / year
Location: 45 Innovation Dr, Hamilton, ON L9H 7L8

Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to):
  • Work directly with customers to define requirements, train and support end users
  • Communicate ideas effectively with other developers during planning sessions and code reviews
  • Design, develop, test, debug and document software solutions from start to finish
  • Assist in the maintenance, support, and updating of our existing codebases
  • Research and learn new technology and tools in software development on an ongoing basis
Key Skill Requirements:
  • Excellent results oriented planning, organization and project skills
  • Self-starter with an ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to effectively multi-task
  • Ability to prioritize work effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Key Experience/Education:
  • Bachelor in Software Engineering is required
  • Experience with Visual Studio, .NET, XAML, C#, XML is required
  • Experience implementing industrial Ethernet protocols (CIP/EtherNet/IP) is required
  • Knowledge of Object Oriented programming principles is an asset
  • Experience with multithreaded architecture is an asset
  • Experience with Python and PyTorch libraries is an asset
  • Awareness of ISO 9001
