We are hiring an Director of Nursing for a Nursing Home in Co. Tipperary.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall operations of the nursing home.
  

• Ensure compliance with HIQA standards, regulations, and best practices.
  

• Oversee clinical governance, quality assurance, and resident safety.
  

• Manage, mentor, and support multidisciplinary teams.
  

• Drive continuous quality improvement and enhance resident satisfaction.
  

• Promote a person-centred approach to care.
  

• Monitor staffing, budgets, and operational performance.
  

• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Registered General Nurse with active NMBI registration.
  

• Significant experience in senior nursing leadership and management roles.
  

• Previous experience as a Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Person in Charge (PIC) in a residential care setting is desirable.
  

• Strong knowledge of HIQA standards and Irish healthcare regulations.
  

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  

• Passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
  

• Ability to lead teams, manage change, and drive service excellence.
