Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Consultant to design, configure, and optimize our cloud-based Human Capital Management (HCM) architecture. The ideal candidate will bridge global HR business requirements with SuccessFactors cloud capabilities, translating complex organizational structures, compensation loops, and talent matrices into highly automated enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and manage core Employee Central (EC) foundations, including corporate data models, foundation objects, business rules, position management, and workflow routing.
  
• Design and deploy talent management cycles, optimizing configurations across Performance & Goals (PMGM), Succession & Development, or Compensation modules.
  
• Build complex business rules and data validations using the SuccessFactors Meta Data Framework (MDF) to enforce data integrity and local HR compliance laws.
  
• Manage global system configuration instances, coordinating role-based permissions (RBP), data translation packs, multi-country picklists, and localization features.
  
• Collaborate with integration architects to support cross-cloud data flows between SuccessFactors and core SAP S/4HANA systems or third-party payroll engines via SAP Cloud Integration (CPI).
  
• Lead instance maintenance and upgrade procedures, conducting impact assessments on semi-annual release cycles, feature activations, and sandbox patch testing.
  
• Guide user acceptance testing (UAT) frameworks, writing functional validation scripts, mapping defect resolutions, and running administrative enablement sessions.
  

Requirements

• 4 to 8 years of core Human Capital Management technology experience, with 4+ dedicated years actively designing, building, and maintaining SAP SuccessFactors applications.
  
• Strong hands-on mastery of SuccessFactors provisioning tools, MDF extensions, business rule engines, XML data models, and enterprise security permissions.
  
• Deep structural understanding of global HR transformation lifecycles, global employee master schemas, data governance structures, and local compliance requirements.
  
• Mandatory certification: SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional level certification in multiple SuccessFactors modules (e.g., Recruiting, Onboarding, or Learning Management).
  
• Prior experience managing hybrid cloud integration models (e.g., SuccessFactors EC alongside on-premise SAP ERP Payroll systems).
