At Rize, we are building the digital infrastructure powering the future of sustainable rice cultivation across Southeast Asia.

Rice farming supports the livelihoods of millions of smallholder farmers, yet it is also one of the world’s largest contributors to methane emissions, accounting for nearly 12% of global methane emissions and close to 30% across Southeast Asia. The transition toward modern, measurable, and lower-emission farming is no longer optional. It is inevitable.

Rize exists to accelerate that transition.

Founded through a joint venture between Temasek, 100x100 (Previously Wavemaker Impact), Breakthrough Energy Ventures, and GenZero, Rize combines climate technology, agricultural intelligence, and last-mile operational infrastructure to help make rice cultivation more productive, resilient, and sustainable.

We are building a technology platform that enables large-scale sustainable rice farming through:

The Role

You'll own creative video content from idea to finished piece - coming up with concepts, writing scripts, setting the visual direction, and making the videos themselves. This is a build-it role for someone who can both think up a good idea and actually produce it, and who has a feel for what makes people watch, share, and come back.

What you'll do

• Come up with content concepts and storylines
  
• Write scripts
  
• Build mood boards and set the visual direction
  
• Turn what we already have - illustrations, photos, graphics, and Paddy, our mascot - into videos people want to watch
  
• Make YouTube and social videos using animation, motion graphics, AI tools, and brand/stock assets
  
• Figure out how to make our community content fun and relatable
  
• Build recurring formats and series people come back for
  

Requirements

What we're looking for

• 1–3 years creating video / social content
  
• You can do both sides - come up with the idea and actually make it
  
• Comfortable with motion graphics and video tools (After Effects, Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar)
  
• Handy with AI content tools - this is core to the role. We use Google Vids, OpenArt, and Canva for video, Nano Banana for images, ElevenLabs for voice, and Claude for scripts and translation
  
• A real feel for what works on social - what makes people watch, share, and come back
  
• A portfolio that shows your own ideas, not just clean execution
  
• Self-starting and scrappy - happy owning things end to end
  

Nice to have

• Illustration or animation skill
  
• Experience building content around a brand character or mascot
  
• Social or community management background
  
• Exposure to agri, climate, or social-impact content
