JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM) or Family Medicine (ABFM) with at least 2 years of ED experience at facilities with annual volumes of 10,000+ visits
  
• Licenses: Active Texas license required
  
• Certifications: ATLS (initial for BC physicians; current ATLS and ACLS for non-boarded physicians)
  
• Experience: FM physicians must have 2+ years of ED experience in high-volume settings
  

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide emergency medical care to patients in a freestanding emergency department
  
• Manage adult and pediatric patients with a variety of acute conditions
  
• Perform initial evaluation, treatment, and disposition of patients
  
• Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow
  
• Maintain accurate medical records using EPIC EMR
