DZ drivers

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Dump Truck Driver to transport construction materials safely, aggregates, soil, gravel, and other materials to and from job sites. The ideal candidate will have strong dump truck experience, a valid commercial driver's licence, and a good understanding of road and site safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate dump trucks to transport materials between job sites, yards, and customer locations.
  
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  
• Load, transport, and dump materials safely and efficiently.
  
• Ensure loads are properly secured and within legal weight limits.
  
• Follow assigned routes, schedules, and dispatch instructions.
  
• Safely maneuver the truck on construction sites and in confined areas.
  
• Maintain accurate daily logs, delivery tickets, and inspection records.
  
• Report mechanical issues, damage, or safety concerns immediately.
  
• Maintain the cleanliness and basic condition of the assigned truck.
  
• Follow company policies, site safety procedures, and applicable transportation regulations.
  

Requirements

• Valid AZ or DZ Driver’s Licence, depending on truck requirements.
  
• Minimum 3 years of dump truck driving experience required.
  
• Clean or acceptable driver’s abstract.
  
• Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle and road safety regulations.
  
• Experience driving on construction sites and uneven terrain.
  
• Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
  
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
  
• Good communication skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and follow dispatch instructions.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience transporting gravel, soil, sand, asphalt, or construction materials.
  
• Familiarity with GTA/Ontario roads and construction sites.
  
• Experience operating tandem or tri-axle dump trucks is an asset.
