We are currently representing a leading private healthcare group in Indonesia seeking an experienced Head of Finance to oversee the financial management and performance of one of its hospital operations.

The role will lead the Finance, Accounting, and Business Office functions, ensuring strong financial control, healthy cash flow, accurate reporting, and effective budget management while supporting the Hospital Director in key business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall Finance, Accounting, and Business Office functions of the hospital
• Develop and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans aligned with hospital targets
• Manage and evaluate CAPEX and OPEX across departments and ensure expenditures remain within approved budgets
• Review monthly and annual financial statements and provide financial analysis to hospital management
• Monitor cash flow, Accounts Receivable (AR), aging, and bad debt, recommending corrective actions where necessary
• Oversee patient, corporate, and insurance billing processes and ensure accurate and timely collections
• Review costing, hospital tariffs, service packages, and pricing to support profitability and commercial decisions
• Ensure accurate recording and control of inventory, fixed assets, and other hospital assets
• Oversee tax reporting, audits, financial compliance, and internal controls
• Develop and continuously improve Finance policies, procedures, and SOPs
• Coordinate with banks, auditors, tax authorities, insurance companies, corporate clients, suppliers, and other external stakeholders
• Establish departmental KPIs and monitor team performance against hospital objectives
• Lead, coach, and develop Finance, Accounting, and Business Office teams
• Act as a strategic financial partner to the Hospital Director, providing recommendations to improve profitability, liquidity, and operational efficiency

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, Banking, or related field; Master's degree is an advantage
• Minimum 7 years of relevant Finance & Accounting experience, including at least 4 years in a managerial position
• Strong experience across financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, AR, taxation, cost control, and financial analysis
• Proven experience managing CAPEX & OPEX and monitoring budgets across multiple departments
• Strong understanding of internal controls, audit, and financial governance
• Experience managing multidisciplinary finance teams and working closely with senior management
• Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience within the hospital or healthcare industry are strongly preferred, particularly those familiar with:

• Hospital Finance & Accounting
• Hospital Information Systems (HIS) and billing
• Patient, corporate, and insurance receivables
• Hospital costing, tariffs, and service packages
• Healthcare budgeting and financial controls
