Reservations Agent – Luxury Safari Lodge | Northern Cape

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a professional, organised and guest-focused Reservations Agent to join a luxury safari lodge in the Northern Cape. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a passion for hospitality, strong administrative abilities and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage reservations enquiries received via telephone, email and online booking platforms.
  

• Process bookings, amendments, cancellations and special requests accurately and efficiently.
  

• Provide guests with detailed information regarding accommodation, lodge facilities, rates and experiences.
  

• Maintain accurate reservation records and ensure all guest information is updated.
  

• Liaise with the lodge team to communicate arrivals, departures, special occasions and guest preferences.
  

• Follow up on enquiries and convert potential bookings into confirmed reservations.
  

• Ensure all guest interactions reflect the high standards expected of a luxury safari establishment.
  

• Assist with administrative duties and reservation reports as required.
  

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a reservations role, preferably within a luxury lodge, hotel or safari environment.
  

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  

• Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  

• Proficiency in reservation systems and general computer applications.
  

• A professional telephone manner and a guest-focused approach.
  

• The ability to multitask, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  

• A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently as well as within a team.
  

• Knowledge of safari lodge operations and the tourism industry would be advantageous.
