Position: Senior NetSuite Technical Consultant
Location: Hyderabad - Remote
Engagement Type: Full Time
Shift Timing: 3.00AM - 12.00PM PST (US Pacific Time)

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy advanced customizations using SuiteScript (1.0 & 2.x), SuiteTalk (SOAP/REST web services), SuiteFlow, and the SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF).
  
• Architecture & Design: Own the technical architecture for complex customizations, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and adherence to NetSuite best practices and governance limits.
  
• Integration Development: Build and maintain inbound/outbound integrations between NetSuite and third-party systems (Salesforce, billing platforms, EDI, middleware such as Boomi, MuleSoft, or Workato).
  
• Code Review & Governance: Establish and enforce coding standards, conduct peer code reviews, and manage version control/deployment pipelines (SDF, CI/CD) across Sandbox and Production environments.
  
• Performance Optimization: Diagnose and resolve script governance issues, performance bottlenecks, and data integrity problems in high-volume transactional environments.
  
• Solution Design: Translate functional requirements and solution design documents (SDDs) into technical specifications and working code.
  
• Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and code review support to junior developers on the team.
  
• AI & Automation: Evaluate and implement NetSuite's native AI capabilities (SuiteSense, etc.) and scripted automation to streamline financial and operational workflows.
  

Key Qualifications:

• Experience: 7+ years of hands-on NetSuite development experience, including full-lifecycle implementations and ongoing managed services/support.
  
• Technical Proficiency: Expert-level SuiteScript 2.x (and working knowledge of 1.0), strong JavaScript fundamentals, and deep understanding of the NetSuite data model, record types, and SuiteCloud platform architecture.
  
• APIs & Integration: Extensive experience with SuiteTalk (REST/SOAP), RESTlets, Map/Reduce scripts, and third-party API integration patterns.
  
• Customization Tools: Advanced experience with SuiteBuilder, SuiteFlow, Workflow Action scripts, Custom Records, and Saved Searches/SuiteQL.
  
• Environment Management: Proven experience managing code deployments and configuration across Sandbox, Release Preview, and Production environments using SDF and bundle management.
  
• Consultative Mindset: Ability to advise on "out of the box" vs. custom development trade-offs, articulating ROI and long-term maintenance costs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  
• Documentation: Strong ability to produce technical design documents, unit test plans, and deployment runbooks.
  
• Language: Fluency in English (written and verbal) required.
  
• Certification: NetSuite Certified SuiteCloud Developer strongly preferred; NetSuite Certified ERP Consultant a plus.
  

Must-Have Experience:

• Deep understanding of ERP core business processes: Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and financial management (GL, AR, AP)
  
• Advanced SuiteScript 2.x development (Map/Reduce, Scheduled, User Event, Client, RESTlet scripts)
  
• Strong SQL/SuiteQL skills for complex reporting and data extraction
  
• Experience with NetSuite governance, script deployment records, and error handling/logging frameworks
  
• Experience building and troubleshooting inbound/outbound integrations at scale
  
• Experience with Advanced Financials (OneWorld, intercompany elimination, financial reporting)
  
• Experience with Advanced Revenue Recognition
  
• Experience with tax engines (OneSource or NetSuite native taxation)
  
• Experience supporting both greenfield implementations and post-go-live managed service
