Job Title: Outpatient Telehealth Staff Psychiatrist – Hybrid (Adults 18+) Employment Type: Full-Time (W2) Location: Hybrid – New York, NY (Combines remote telehealth with scheduled on-site clinic days in Manhattan/NYC) Compensation: $260,000 – $290,000 / year (Base Salary) Position Overview A premier, physician-founded outpatient behavioral health group is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Adult Psychiatrist for a hybrid outpatient role based in New York, NY. This position offers the best of both worlds: the flexibility of remote telehealth sessions paired with designated in-office clinic days for hands-on collaboration, in-person patient assessments, and collegial peer connection. Working alongside a team of experienced psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and licensed psychotherapists, you will deliver integrated mental healthcare to a diverse adult population across the greater New York metropolitan area. Key Responsibilities Deliver outpatient psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management through a structured combination of in-person clinic visits and secure telehealth video visits. Partner with multidisciplinary mental health professionals, participating in peer case consultations and coordinated care planning. Provide patient-centered education on psychiatric diagnoses, pharmacological options, and lifestyle/therapeutic interventions. Maintain timely and compliant clinical documentation and electronic prescription records via the practice's EHR. Contribute to a supportive, warm, and high-standard clinical environment. Qualifications & Requirements Education: M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school. Residency: ACGME-accredited residency training in Adult/General Psychiatry. Board Status: Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Psychiatry (ABPN). Licensure: Active, unencumbered New York State Medical License. Certifications: Valid DEA certificate in good standing with New York registration. Location & Commute: Ability to regularly commute to the clinical practice office in New York, NY for required on-site clinic days. Schedule & Work Environment Work Model: Hybrid structure (designated in-person office days in New York, NY + scheduled remote telehealth days). Schedule: Full-time weekday schedule with agreed-upon clinic hours; no mandatory on-call, ER coverage, or inpatient rounding.
