Job Title: Senior Python Engineer - API Development

Location: Plano, TX

We are seeking a Sr. Python Engineer with strong expertise in Python, API development, and AWS cloud-native technologies to design, build, and operate highly scalable and reliable backend services.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Python backend development.
Experience designing and developing REST APIs and microservices.
Strong AWS experience with several of the following:
- AWS Lambda
- API Gateway
- ECS/Fargate
- EKS/Kubernetes
- S3
- EventBridge
- SQS/SNS
- RDS/Aurora
- DynamoDB
- ElastiCache/Redis
Experience with Docker and containerized application deployment.
Experience with Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Strong understanding of AWS IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, VPC, and cloud security.
Experience with application monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability.
Experience with automated testing and software quality practices.
Strong understanding of Git, code reviews, Agile development, and production support.
Strong communication and technical problem-solving skills.
