Production Manager
Location: Central Belt of Scotland
Salary: £45,000 DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday, 2pm–10.30pm


I’m genuinely excited to be representing my client in their search for a Production Manager.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys being involved on the factory floor, bringing a team together and seeing the difference their work makes. You’ll lead production on the backshift, keeping standards high, supporting your team and finding practical ways to improve performance.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead daily production, setting clear expectations and delivering production and service targets.

  • Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, health and safety, product quality and traceability.

  • Ensure products meet customer specifications, with accurate labelling and consistent process compliance.

  • Monitor performance and improve yield, labour efficiency, waste and product giveaway.

  • Organise staffing, team rotation, holidays and absence cover.

  • Develop your team through training and performance management, ensuring systems are used correctly and issues are escalated promptly.

Requirements


What I’m looking for

  • A strong team leader who can motivate people, set clear expectations and manage performance.

  • Level 3 Food Hygiene or equivalent, plus HACCP certification.

  • Good numeracy and attention to detail.

  • Clear spoken and written English to support safety, quality and team communication.

  • Someone adaptable who takes ownership, learns quickly and supports others’ development.

  • Able to work on site Monday to Friday 2pm-10:30pm
  • Right to work in the UK
At this time no visa sponsorship available.
