Live-in Housekeeper req in Barnes (SW13), Studio flat, £45k+gpa, January 2027 start

A lovely, highly recommended couple based in Barnes, SW13, are seeking an experienced and dedicated Live-in Housekeeper. The position comes highly recommended by their current Housekeeper, who has been with the couple for 16 years!

The ideal candidate will be an excellent all-round Housekeeper who takes pride in maintaining a beautiful home to a high standard and is happy to take responsibility for all housekeeping duties, including laundry, washing, ironing, wardrobe organisation and polishing silver.

The couple have a much-loved dog, so a genuine love of dogs is essential, with dog walking and dog sitting forming part of the role. Occasional cooking will also be required, particularly simple Mediterranean-style dishes for the couple. The successful candidate should be proactive and capable of dealing with contractors, running errands and generally assisting with the smooth running and care of the home. There may be occasional overnight stays, and when the couple travel, the Housekeeper will be responsible for caring for the house and dog.

A driver would be a bonus, although this is not essential.

The couple are looking for someone warm, discreet, reliable and well organised who is seeking a long-term position.

Days and hours are Monday to Friday, 8hrs per day with occasional weekends required.

Accommodation: Self-contained studio flat with kitchenette within the home.

Salary: £45k+ gross per annum, dependent on experience.

Start Date: January, with a handover period with the current Housekeeper in December.
