GROUP FINANCIAL MANAGER - R 1.6 Million + Benefits - Stellenbosch, CPT

An exceptional opportunity for an accomplished CA(SA) or CIMA (CGMA) to join an established, growing group operating within a sophisticated trading environment.

Reporting to the CFO, this is a high-impact finance leadership role combining strategic financial management, commercial insight, trading profitability, risk, funding and financial control, with meaningful exposure to Executive Management and the Board.

THE OPPORTUNITY

You will take a leading role across:

• Strategic financial leadership, group reporting and financial control
  
• Analysis of trading profitability, margins and performance
  
• Commodity, market and trading risk
  
• Treasury, funding and trade finance
  
• Inventory exposure, valuations and hedging
  
• Working capital management
  
• Budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning
  
• EXCO and Board-level financial insights
  
• Leadership and development of the finance team
  
• Continuous improvement and digitalisation of finance processes
  

Requirements

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

CA(SA) or CIMA (CGMA) with approximately 10+ years' relevant financial management experience, exceptional analytical ability and the confidence to challenge complex financial and commercial information at executive level.

Experience within commodity trading, risk management, trade finance, inventory and hedging will be highly advantageous, together with knowledge of SAFEX, futures, hedging instruments and IFRS.

Strong Excel, financial modelling and ERP/trading systems exposure will further strengthen your application.
