We’re looking for a Partnership Program Manager to join TeamAccu!

Want to be part of something bigger? If you’re ambitious, love the new, then we’re just for you. We service more than 70% of the top 100 global manufacturers. We're on a mission to be the most loved component buying experience that's ever existed. Want to join our mission?

Who Are Accu? Watch our intro video to see why this is the company you want to join.

We're the new kind of component company. From our UK base we supply precision components to engineers and manufacturers worldwide, and Accu Inc is where we are building that same momentum in the US.

THE ROLE
The Partnership Program Manager is Accu’s engineering face to US supply partners and customers. You will own our relationships with key US supply partners, keeping them healthy, commercial and growing.
You will also be the technical go-to for US customers, from quoting new enquiries to deeper product conversations. This is a hands-on role in a growing business. Supplier management is the focus, but you will roll up your sleeves wherever Accu Inc needs you

THE RESPONSIBILITIES
About 50% of the job is supplier relationships, 35% customer quoting and technical support and 15% wider Accu Inc support. These splits are indicative.

Supplier relationship management
  • Be the main day-to-day contact for Accu's key US supply partners.
  • Run regular business reviews covering performance, forecasts, pricing, lead times and growth plans.
  • Track order health: on-time delivery, open orders, backlogs, quality issues and returns.
  • Escalate and resolve supply, quality and delivery problems quickly, and follow them through to root cause.
  • Visit partner sites to build relationships, audit capability and spot new product opportunities.
  • Work with Accu's UK purchasing and product teams on onboarding new ranges and keeping product data accurate.
  • Report supplier KPIs and relationship status to the Engineering Director and Accu Inc MD.
  • Support Accu's UK teams with supplier lead time and delivery issues on stock shipped into the UK, not just US orders

Customer quoting and technical liaison
  • Respond to incoming US customer enquiries and prepare accurate, timely quotations, working with suppliers on pricing, lead times and feasibility.
  • Follow up on open quotes and help convert them into orders.
  • Handle technical questions from US customers on components, specifications, materials and applications.
  • Bring in supplier engineers or Accu product teams when a question needs deeper expertise.
  • Turn customer feedback and demand signals into insight for suppliers and the product team.
  • Make sure custom and high-value work is only quoted and placed with approved suppliers, with US manufacturing partners considered first.

Hands-on business support
  • Pitch in across Accu Inc wherever needed, from sales support and trade shows to operations and projects.
  • Help shape how Accu Inc works as the US business grows.
  • Support the set-up and running of Accu’s US warehouse and operations.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We hire for attitude and personality first. Experience is a bonus, not a requirement. Bold, optimistic and hands-on. Someone who takes ownership, moves fast and wants to help build Accu's US business from the ground up.

Essential
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn. You don't need to know every component on day one. We'll help you get there.
  • Commercial sense: comfortable with pricing, margins, forecasts and negotiating with partners.
  • Strong relationship builder who communicates clearly with suppliers, customers and senior leaders.
  • Organised and self-starting, able to manage priorities across two time zones (US and UK).

Desirable
  • Experience in the fastener or precision component industry.
  • Experience in an engineering, manufacturing or industrial distribution business, in a supplier-facing, account management or technical sales role.
  • Enough technical understanding to discuss specifications, drawings, materials and tolerances with confidence.
  • Confident with ERP systems, Excel and CRM tools.
  • Engineering degree or technical qualification, such as mechanical or manufacturing engineering.
  • Supplier quality knowledge, for example PPAP, 8D, ISO 9001, AS9100 or IATF 16949.
  • Experience working in a small or scaling business where roles are broad.
  • Experience supplying aerospace or other regulated industries.

Travel and working pattern
  • Based in Indianapolis, Indiana.
  • Travel to US supply partner sites as and when needed. Occasional customer visits and trade shows.
  • Occasional travel to Accu in the UK to work with the purchasing and product teams.
  • Some early or late calls overlap with UK hours (Indianapolis is 5 hours behind the UK).
  • A valid driving licence and eligibility to work in the US are required.

THE WRAP UP
Job title: Partnership Program Manager
Employer: Accu Inc, the US business of Accu
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana, with travel to supply partners as needed
Reports to: Managing Director, Accu Inc
Day-to-day direction: Engineering Director, Accu
Salary: $60,000 to $80,000 base, depending on experience.
