Cleaner – Rayleigh

Location: London Hill, Rayleigh, SS6 7HR
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: 7.5 hours per week

Job Summary

We are recruiting a reliable part-time Cleaner for a government office site in Rayleigh. This role is working Monday to Friday with a choice of morning or evening shifts.

The successful candidate will work independently and must be comfortable taking responsibility for securing the site where required.

Duties

• General cleaning of offices and communal areas
  
• Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
  
• Cleaning toilets and washroom facilities
  
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste
  
• Wiping and sanitising surfaces
  
• Replenishing consumables where required
  
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  
• Following site health and safety procedures
  

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience preferred
  
• Valid Right to Work documentation must be provided at induction
  
• Comfortable with lone working
  
• Comfortable being a key holder
  
• Able to operate an alarm panel where required
  
• Reliable with good attention to detail
  
• Able to commit to the Monday-to-Friday shift pattern
  
• Must use the site's telephone time and attendance clocking system
  

Working Hours

Monday to Friday – 1.5 hours per day

Shifts can be worked either:

Morning: 8:30am onwards
or
Evening: 4:30pm – 6:00pm

Total: 7.5 hours per week

Pay: £12.71 per hour
