PMC Manager Mumbai

Project Planning & Profitability Management:

• Organize internal kick-off meetings with stakeholders (QA/QC, Safety, SCM, etc.) to define actions and deliverables per contract.
  
• Map Client/PMC organization structure for understanding decision-making and payment processes.
  
• Coordinate with CMs to prepare work schedules and billing schedules, planning resource allocation (material, manpower, etc.) with the Regional Operations Head.
  
• Collate monthly billing forecasts, track progress, and escalate deviations to the Regional Operations Head.
  
• Conduct monthly/weekly reviews of material and manpower costs, ensuring alignment with budget and recommending efficiency improvements.
  
• Prepare and review annual sales billing forecast for the region in collaboration with GM and CMs.
  

Project Review and Monitoring:

• Track customer work acceptance and invoice certification, escalating issues to the Regional Operations Head.
  
• Review and analyze Cluster Manager WRM notes, resolving highlighted issues with the Regional Operations Head.
  
• Follow up with teams (Accounts, SCM, QA/QC, HSE) on WRM notes for resolution.
  
• Jointly review work schedules with CMs & Project Engineering to ensure client requirements and technical specifications are met.
  
• Monitor defect dashboards and manage non-conformities and complaints.
  
• Oversee PMS portal for customer issues, escalating disputes and tracking resolution.
  
• Plan remedial actions for invoicing issues related to execution defects or project documentation.
  
• Review project documentation templates prepared by PM & QA/QC teams.
  

Contract Terms and Commercials Management:

• Review and verify budgets for repair/maintenance work, ensuring completion within budget and collecting customer feedback for closure of NC/Defects.
  
• Monitor contract terms for proper implementation and escalate as required.
  
• Review sales achievements, profitability, and critical client issues.
  
• Coordinate with Regional Operations Head on audit updates and track actions for closure (Stock, Safety, QA/QC audits).
  
• Ensure proper recording of client correspondence, checklists, and site reports in ERP/PMS system.
  

Coordination with HO Team/Functions:

• Coordinate pending payments and voucher processing with Finance & Accounts.
  
• Follow up on purchase-related matters and idle inventory movement with SCM.
  
• Lead training and quality initiatives with the technical function team (QA-QC, Engineering).
  
• Escalate customer claims, contract conditions, forex claims, and time extensions with the Contracts team.
  
• Work with sales team on recovery and abstract conversion, aligning with Contracts team for kick-off meetings.
  
• Monitor monthly closing and ERP updates, ensuring alignment with finance and consumption data.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience in project management, contract management, and profitability monitoring.
  
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with internal teams and clients.
  
• Proficient in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  
• Ability to handle complex issues related to customer claims, contract terms, and invoicing.
  
• Familiarity with ERP/PMS systems and audit tracking.
  
• Leadership and team management capabilities.
  

Requirements

Experience & Qualification:

• Minimum 5 years in project management or a related field, with a focus on contract management and profitability.
  

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (B.Tech /B.E. in Civil Engineering).
